Ruthless:

Ruthless started spinning records in 1995, and shortly after that moment he was already making mixtapes for Radio Balans and Stadsradio Rotterdam. He started as a resident DJ at Kozmoz (Belgium) and Maddox (Vlaardingen, Holland) and played at several places in and around Rotterdam. Since 2002 Ruthless started playing all over Holland, in Places like: The Matrixx, The Powerzone, 538 I-Dance, TDF, Asta, Tropicana, Hardbeat Cafe, Amigo's, Hemkade, Nightlive, Alcazar, Heiniken Music Hall, Bob's Saloon, Kathedraal, Hollywood Music Hall, Locomotion, Club X, Silverdome, ZAK and many more! Ruthless has also grown internationally, he spinned his records in the USA, in Hollywood (The Palace), Las Vegas (Ra) and San Diego (Garden Of Eden) together with Koen Groeneveld (Klubbheads). Also in France (Le Tremplin, Seven, Acropol), Belgium (Captain, H2O, Sotto's, Complex, Lambo, The Return) and Germany (The Bridge, Tarm Center, Area 51)! He favourite styles are Jump, Oldschool and offcourse the early Hardcore is where his roots are! During the week Ruthless also works as a vinyl salesman at Digidance, a big record company in Holland. 2005 was the big year for Ruthless, after 10 years of hard work things went through the roof! You could see and hear him play at Defqon 1, Hardbass, In Qontrol, Decibel Outdoor, Qrime Time and the FFWD Dance Parade! As a producer, Ruthless is really going strong. He's already made remixes of Reeloop - Fucking Society and Da Klubb Kings - Don't Stop (Both Number 1 Dutch Dance Charts). After he teams up with his studio mate Maarten Vorwerk, things really start to blow! They make a perfect team! Together they make remixes for Benny Benassi, Pulsedriver, Greg C, Boozywoozy, Dark-E, Pavo & Zany, Bassdrum Project, Antonio & Cristiano, DJ Coone and many more! After the release of Ruthless & Vorwerk - I Feel Like Dancin' and Jack & The Ripper - Whores In Da House they enter the NL Dance Charts Top 3 with both these records! 'Remote Control', Ruthless' first solo record, is a big hit in Holland (Top 10), Belgium and France (Top 10)! The follow-up to IFLD (Wake Up/Jump Up) was also a big hit. In 2005 many more great jump records came out on Ruthless' own label: 'Square Beats'. GJ Warez - Popcorn, R&V - Not This Record, Bassdrum Project - Phunkee, Jeckyll & Hyde - Precious Dreamer / Kick This One, all rocked the dancefloors of many partyplaces around the globe! Be prepared for many more big releases on this label, by ofcourse DJ Ruthless and Ruthless & Vorwerk, but also other artists and different projects!
